Feature release

A feature release is the process of rolling out new or updated functionalities to a product. The feature launch process generally begins with using a feature flag to initiate a limited release to a specific part of the user base. 

Successful feature releases usually include release notes and in-product notifications to drive feature adoption while also gathering feedback to improve the user experience.
